Romain Langasque carded six birdies and no bogeys in a superb closing 65 to claim his first European Tour title at the Welsh Open in Newport.

Langasque finished on eight under par, two shots ahead of Finland's Sami Valimaki, with Englishmen David Dixon and Matthew Jordan a shot further back.

Sevilla beat Internazionale in the Europa League final in Cologne, Germany to win the tournament for a record sixth timee.

Romelu Lukaku gave the side from Milan an early lead with a penalty but Luuk de Jong scored with two headers to put Sevilla into the lead. Inter were level when Diego Godin nodded in to make it 2-2 in the 35th minute.

Then, on 74 minutes, Diego Carlos' overhead kick, which was going wide, was deflected by Lukaku into the Inter net and the Spanish side held on to claiom their six th success in tjhe event wither under its UEFA Cup or Europa League monicker.
