Stradivarius won the Gold Cup for the third year in a row in sensational style.

Nayef Road set the pace in the marathon distance two-and-a-half mile event, the big race of the Royal meeting at Ascot but Frankie Dettori produced the champion in the home straight on the bridle and unleashed a stunning burst in the final furlong and a half to leave the others look like selling platers.
