Italy's Jannik Sinner became the youngest man to complete the set of major tennis hard court trophies with a 7-6 7-6 victory over Russian Daniil Medvedev in the final in Indian Wells, California, USA.
Sinner has won both hard court Grand Slams, the Australian & US Opens, plus titles in Miami, Toronto, Cincinnati, Shanghai, Paris and the season-ending ATP Finals. Only Serbia's Novak Djokovic and Swiss Roger Federer have achieved the same feat.
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka beat Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina 3-6 6-3 7-6 in the women's final.

France won rugby's men's Six Nations in dramatic fashion, as Thomas Ramos slotted a penalty with the last kick of the match to beat England 48-46 in Paris.
It was an eighth title of the Six Nations era for France. Ireland finished second after beating Scotland in a Triple Crown decider in Dublin earlier in the day.
