China's world champion Zhao Xintong beat John Higgins of Scotland 10-7 in the final to win snooker's Players Championship in Telford, England.
Zhao has won both the last two ranking tournaments after his success in the World Grand Prix and he becomes the fourth player to win all of his first five such finals, following Steve Davis, Mark Williams and Neil Robertson.

Norway finished at the summit of the medals table for a third successive Winter Olympics as the Games ended in Italy.
The Scandinavian nation won 18 gold medals, six of which were claimed by cross country skier Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo, a record for the most events won at a single Winter Olympics. Klaebo has won a record 11 in his Olympic career.
