Tyrrell Hatton, England's top-ranked golfer, carded a six-under par final round of 66 to win the Abu Dhabi Championship by four shots, the first event of the 2021 European PGA Tour.

Hatton had begun the final round behind Rory McIlroy, but the Ulsterman could only manage a 72 playing alongside the Englishman over the the closing 18 holes, to finish third, five adrift of Hatton. Australia's Jason Scrivener was second.
