Spain's Garbine Muguruza claimed a first  title in almost two years after winning the WTA  tournament in Dubai, beating Czech Barbora Krejcikova 7-6 (8-6) 6-3,

It was Muguruza's first  win since the Monterrey Open in April 2019.
