Judd Trump won his third consecutive snooker ranking title with a 9-3 victory over fellow Englishman Chris Wakelin in the Northern Ireland Open final in Belfast, to lift the Alex Higgins trophy for a record-extending fourth time.
Trump has now won 20 matches in succession having also claimed the English Open and Wuhan Open titles this month, just the fifth player to land three ranking titles on the trot, after Ray Reardon, Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis and Ding Junhui.
