Spain's Carlos Alcaraz successfully defended the ATP Indian Wells Men's singles title in California with a 7-6 (7-5) 6-1 win over Russian Daniil Medvedev in a repeat of last year's final.
It was Alcaraz's first tournament victory since Wimbledon last July.
