Kyprios beat Trawlerman by a length to become only the third horse to regain racing's Gold Cup at the Royal Ascot meeting in England.
The 2022 winner, who missed the race last year with a life-threatening leg injury, won under English jockey Ryan Moore for Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien. It was the ninth time O’Brien had won the race.
