Cricket - Champions League Twenty20
Terrorist attacks in India cancelled the planned inaugural Champions League in 2008 but, one year later, the sub-continent hosted a tournament involving 12 teams from seven of the sport's major international federations. The event grew to encompass a qualifying tournament but, as interest from viewers dropped, the tournament was cancelled after 2014.
