Antoine Dupont came off the bench to lead France to their first gold of the Paris Olympics in the Rugby Sevens at Stade de France.
France 15-a-side captain Dupont set up a try and scored two himself to inspire the hosts to a 28-7 win over defending Olympic champions Fiji in the final.

American Xander Schauffele won the 152nd Open golf Championship in Troon, Scotland.
It was the second major title in three months for Schauffele, who became the first player to win The Open and the PGA Championship in the same year since 2014. Englishman Justin Rose and Billy Horschel of the USA finished joint-second, a couple of shots behind the winner.
