Cricket - Irani Cup
Named after a long-serving Indian cricket administrator, Zal Irani, this trophy is contested by the previous year's Ranji Trophy winners and the "Rest of India" team. Initially it was played towards the end of the Indian season, was moved to the beginning of the campaign from 1965-66 to 2012-13 and since 2013 has been staged immediately after the Ranji Trophy final.
