Snooker - Irish Masters
The Irish Masters enjoyed an illustrious history as an invitation event for almost 30 years. Traditionally it was the only professional snooker tournament held in the Irish Republic.
The final three stagings were as a ranking tournament (staged at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin) but it disappeared off the calendar after 2005, apart from one occasion as an elite field in 2007.
