Snooker - Malta Grand Prix Invitational
Big time snooker came to the Mediterranean island of Malta for the first time in 1994 as a 12-man inviatation event. The event was run as a ranking tournament on one occasion, in 2000, but reverted to a select dozen in 2001. It was another of the many tournaments to founder in the early 21st century.
