Olympic Games - Artistic Swimming

Artistic Swimming (formerly known as Synchronised Swimming) has been part of the Olympic programme since 1984. It had always been a female-only event until it was opened to men as well in the Mixed team class in 2024, although no male competitors were able to qualify for the those Olympics in Paris.
In 1996, the Solo competition was discontinued, replaced by the Mixed Team. There was no Duet competition in 1996.
