Golf - Royal Trophy

A mini version of the Ryder Cup contested by Asia and Europe for a prize donated by the King of Thailand. Staged annually in Thailand between 2006 and 2011, it will be contested bienually in odd-numbered years from then on with the venue alternating between the two continents. Eight-man teams take part in four foursomes, a quartet of fourball matches and eight singles.
