Cricket - SAT20
The premier Twenty20 Cricket competition in South Africa was initially known as the Pro20 Series before adopting Domestic T20 as its name in 2011–12. It was initially contested by six franchise teams. In 2007–08 the Zimbabwe national team also took part.
It was not staged in 2020 or 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.and was revamped in 2023 as the SA20 with new franchises based in Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Paarl and Pretoria.
