Golf - Scottish Open
The Scottish Open takes place in July. From 1974-1985 the event did not feature on the European Tour, it returned in 1986 to replace the Glasgow Open but disappeared once again from 1997-2000, its slot taken by a tournament taking the Loch Lomond name but this decision was subsequently reversed with the Loch Lomnond tournaments being accepted as being Scottish Opens. It was not staged in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2022 it also became a PGA Tour event.
Courses used: Gleneagles (1935 & 1987-94), Belleisle (1936), Downfield (1972), Old Course, St Andrews (1973), Haggs Castle (1986), King's Course, Loch Lomond (1996-2010), Castle Stuart (2011-13 & 2016), Royal Aberdeen (2014), Gullane (2015 & 2018), Dundonald (2017), North Berwick (2019-)
