Rugby - Tom Richards Trophy
Awarded to the winner of the Australia v British & Irish Lions series, the prize is named after the first man to have played for both teams. Richards toured the UK with Australia in 1908 and two years later was in South Africa with the Lions. It was first contested in 2001. Previously, the Lions had won 14 of the 17 matches, with Australia victorious just three times.
