  1. Spain's La Liga and England's Premier League will resume, both behind closed doors, on 11th and 17th June respectively.

    Football in Spain was suspended on 12th March because of the coronavirus outbreak. Champions Barcelona are top of the table by two points from Real Madrid with 11 matches remaining.

    The Premier League will return to action on 17th June with 92 fixtures still to be played. It is understood that a provisional end date for the season will be 25th July. 

    Liverpool are 25 points clear of Manchester City, aiming to seal a first top tier league title for 30 years.

  2. The FA Cup final is set to be played at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday 1st August.

    English football's governing body, the Football Association, said the date is "dependent on all safety measures being met".

    The quarter-finals (Leicester v Chelsea, Newcastle v Manchester City, Sheffield United v Arsenal and Norwich v Manchester United) are proposed to take place on 27th and 28th June, while the semi-finals have been rescheduled for 11th-12th July.
