Jan Brueghel beat stablemate Illinois by a neck at Doncaster to claim the oldest horse racing classic, the St Leger, for Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien, his eighth win in the race. The jockey was Swaziland-born Sean Levey.
Deira Mile was third past the winning post but was relegated to forth behind Sunway following a stewards' inquiry, for interference.
