Tennis - WTA Hungarian Open
Budapest, the Hungarian capital, played host to this event each February on indoor hard courts at the Europe Tennis Center. Prior to 2017 it was staged in May on outdoor clay courts in 1993 and from 1996 to 2016, and was called the WTA Budapest Grand Prix. It was rated as an International class tournament but was dropped from the tour after 2019.
