Britain's Dan Evans won the first ATP 500 title of his career, beating Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor  7-5 6-3 in the final in Washington DC.
American Coco Gauff beat Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-2 6-3 to take the women's title.

Nigeria beat Senegal 84-74 in the final in Kigali, Rwanda to retain the African women's basketball championship.
They become only the second team to ever win four consecutive African titles, after Senegal.
