English jockey Ryan Moore won The Derby for a third time, guiding Auguste Rodin to victory at Epsom Downs.
The victory gave Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien a record-extending ninth triumph in the race.

Italian jockey Frankie Dettori won The Oaks on Soul Sister at Epsom Downs, his seventh victory in the ancient classic horse race. Savethelastdance was secoind, with Caernarfon third.
The winner was trained by father-and-son duo John & Thady Gosden.
