Spain's Jon Rahm won golf's Masters title in Augusta, becoming the first European to have won the two biggest tournaments staged in the United States, having won the US Open in 2021.

Rahm finished on 12-under-par, four shots clear of Americans Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson in joint-second. he si the fourth Sopaniard to claim a green jacket.

Tunisia's Ons Jabeur claimed her first WTA tennis title of the season with victory over Belinda Bencic of Switzerland 7-6 (8-6) 6-4 in the final of the Charleston Open in South Carolina, USA.

Defending champion Bencic played two matches on Sunday, completing a rain-interrupted semi-final against Jessica Pegula before facing Jabeur. It is Jabeur's fourth WTA title and second on clay.
