Sire du berlais is top stayer

Outsider Sire Du Berlais landed the Stayers' Hurdle at horse racing's Cheltenham Festival.

THe 33-1 shot trained in Ireland by Gordon Elliott and ridden by Mark Walsh beat favourite Teahupoo promoted to second and Dashel Drasher demoted from second to third after a stewards' inquiry.

Energumene still champion

Irish-trained Energumene retained his Queen Mother Champion Chase crown at horse racing's Cheltenham Festival, beating Captain Guinness by 10 lengths.

Jockey Paul Townend guided the nine-year-old to trainer Willie Mullins' 92nd Festival victory. Greaneteen was third.
