Jones ends long drought

Australian Matt Jones won the Florida Classic PGA Tour golf tournament by five shots.

It was a first tour title in seven years for the 40-year-old. American Brandon Hagy was second with five players tied for third one shot behind Hagy.

williams triumphs at 46

Welshman Mark Williams became the oldest snooker ranking event winner for 32 years when he won the inaugural World Snooker Tour (WST) Pro Series in Milton Keynes, England.

The 46-year-old three-time world champion came top of the final eight-player round-robin group. Ali Carter of England was the runner-up.
