Sao Paulo-based club Palmeiras won the Copa Libertadores for the second time with a 1-0 win over fellow Brazilian side Santos at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro..

The goal was scored by substitute Breno Lopes in added time at the end of the match.

Tyrrell Hatton, England's top-ranked golfer, carded a six-under par final round of 66 to win the Abu Dhabi Championship by four shots, the first event of the 2021 European PGA Tour.

Hatton had begun the final round behind Rory McIlroy, but the Ulsterman could only manage a 72 playing alongside the Englishman over the the closing 18 holes, to finish third, five adrift of Hatton. Australia's Jason Scrivener was second.
