Scotland's John Higgins won his first snooker title in four years with a 10-6 victory in the World Open final over Joe O'Connor of England in Yushan, China.
It was the four-time world champion's 32nd ranking tournament success of his career and, at 49, he was the oldest ranking event finalist since 1986.

The France men's rugby team beat Italy 73-24 at Stadio Olimpico in Rome in the Six Nations to retain the Trophee Garibaldi.
France scored 12 tries and Italy dotted down three times to create a new tournament record of 14 tries in a match and it was also France's highest score in a Six Nations fixture.
